BöttcherPro PRO-tect Sealer Protection coating

Oil-based coating that is applied on the printed sheet via the last ‚inking unit“ of a commercial sheetfed press. It allows faster turnaround times, faster secondary press pass and print finishing. Used in presses without coating unit.

• Avoids drying problems on matt coated paper
• Provides the printed sheet with an almost invisible protecting layer Starts to dry within an extremely short time
• Allows faster print finishing thanks to less waiting time for drying

Even if the ink layer below the coating isn’t completely dry yet, the further steps (for example backside printing, folding, cutting, binding) are possible without the risk that the ink blurs on the print imageInline-protection for the print image
